| We are a small Swedish-Canary family enterprise and work completely indepenently from the big, multinational tour operators.
The benefits of our activities revert to the small-scale entrepreneurs and producers. When we don’t stay at our own property, we stay in small, local pensions instead of the big hotels. We eat at traditional restaurants, and we use the services of our neighbour farmers and shepherds.
Our purpose is not to simply have a stroll in the woods and that’s it, but to show the reality of the island and transmit the love and respect we feel for the island. We will give ample information about prehistory and history, flora and fauna, geology, economical, political and social aspects, culture, and the recent, big changes, all with the knowledge and perspective that only native and long-time residents can have.

Furthermore, we want our clients to really live the experience of hiking on La Palma and really enjoy it to the fullest. We take our time on the trails, stopping to look at things or to photograph, having ample lunch rests (which might even include a brief siesta on the longest routes), and, in general, allowing for much more time on the trails than is usually the case. Therefore we don’t give specific times of duration; instead, we just classify each hike loosely as short, medium or long.
We strive to offer an exclusive service of the highest possible quality. For example, a good part of the vegetables used in our kitchen are ecologically grown in our own garden. The rest of the products will be locally produced or homemade whenever possible.
Another example of our aim for high service, are the route lunches. They will be varied and, although necessarily simpler than the dinners we eat at the end of the day, far better than just a ham sandwich and a juice.
Summing up, we want our guests to feel more like visiting family members and friends than as paying clients.
